In Little Bears, our toddlers between the ages of 2 years to 3 years old are supported as curious explorers discovering their independence and voice. Inspired by Maple Bear’s play-based program and aligned with EYLF outcomes, learning experiences encourage children to become confident and involved learners through hands-on exploration and meaningful play.
Educators nurture early learning in the domains of language development, emotional regulation, and social skills through conversation, imaginative play, and collaborative experiences. Children begin forming friendships, making choices, and developing a growing sense of autonomy within a safe and supportive environment.

The Junior Bears room supports children as they grow into confident and increasingly independent learners. Guided by Maple Bear philosophy and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, educators encourage children to take active roles in their daily routines, fostering responsibility and autonomy.
Through everyday routines such as putting away their bags and belongings, caring for shared spaces, and learning to dress independently, children develop practical life skills that strengthen their sense of capability and belonging. Play-based investigations and collaborative learning experiences further support communication, problem-solving, and early literacy and numeracy development.
Within this nurturing preschool environment, children are empowered to make choices, contribute to their community, and build the independence and resilience needed for their next stage of learning.

Senior Bears supports children in becoming confident, capable learners as they engage in school readiness-based activities. Our pre-school program is embedded into our daily routines. With Maple Bear’s structured play-based approach and the EYLF learning outcomes, the program promotes independence, critical thinking, and self-confidence which are important skills at this age.
Project-based learning, intentional teaching, and collaborative experiences strengthen early academic foundations while nurturing creativity and wellbeing. Children develop self-regulation, leadership skills, and a strong sense of identity, leaving the program ready to thrive in their next stage of learning.
